Pythagoras of Samos was born between 580 and 572 , died between 500 and 490 BC) was an greek mathematician and founder of the religious movement called Pithagorism. He is remember as a great mathematician,  and scientist. Herodotuscalled him as “the most able philosopher of the Greeks”.He is best known for the Pythagoran Theorem, which has his name. Knowned as “the father of numbers”, Pythagoras made influential contributions to the philosofy and religious teaching in the late 6th century BC. Pythagoras once said that “number is the ruler of forms and ideas and the cause of gods and demons”.He was the first man to call himself a philosopher and Pythagorean ideas exercised a heavy influence on Platone. No more is known about Pythagoras because we haven’t any of his works . On shurly Pithagoras was one of the most important mathematics and philosopher of the 6th century.Today we study his theorem in the shcool
